Summary:
This article explains the messages seen in idpd_err.<DATE> log file every time a policy is compiled via signature DB update.

Symptoms:
Example of meesages seen in /var/log/idpd_err.<DATE>

[08:37:01] Error: sc_ddosclientobj_compile:[08:37:01] Error: sc_ids_output_rulebase: no rules for IPv4 and IPv6 seperately
[08:37:01] Error: sc_pc_output: 'backdoor' has no pi
[08:37:01] Error: sc_pc_output: 'portfaker' has no pi
[08:37:01] Error: sc_pc_output: 'exempt' has no pi
[08:37:01] Error: sc_pc_output: 'protomap' has no pi
[08:41:51] Error: sc_ddosclientobj_compile:[08:41:52] Error: sc_ids_output_rulebase: no rules for IPv4 and IPv6 seperately
[08:41:52] Error: sc_pc_output: 'backdoor' has no pi

Cause:
These messages will come every time policy compilation is triggered via signature database update.

Solution:
These messages can be ignored. They are more of informational messages and will not affect functionality.

**When you install the security package into the IDPD embedded DB and if there is an existing running policy it re-compiles the existing running policy and pushes the compiled policy to the data plane**

These will be removed from error logs in coming future releases.
