This article describes the limitations in having multiple Infranet Controllers (IC) configured on an SRX or ScreenOS device. While there is no limit on the number of ICs that can be configured, only one Enforce may be active at a time.

What are the limitations in configuring multiple Infranet Controllers on an SRX or ScreenOS device?

Cause:

Solution:

There is no limit on the number of ICs that can be configured. However, only one IC connection per Enforcer can be active at a time. This is a limitation for all Enforcers (ScreenOS and Junos).  All other ICs will be used as standby.
