Article ID: KB27989 KB Last Updated: 04 Oct 2013Version: 1.0

NS5-GT showing "link down, phy-link up" in dual untrust mode.

NS5-GT showing "link down, phy-link up" in dual untrust mode.

NS5-GT, when configured in dual untrust mode, shows ethernet3 as primary untrust and ethernet2 as a back-up untrust.

If  failover is enabled on the firewall then there is always only one interface as “link up, phy-link up” and the other as “link down, phy-link up”. If it is required that both the interfaces have “link up, phy-link up”, failover should be disabled on the firewall.

To disable failover, use the following command:

unset enable failover
