[EOL/EOE] [NSM] Warning message: "Set config in sync fails -> Set config in sync fails: unknown"

NSM shows following warning in Job Manager while updating Primary cluster:

Warn: Set config in sync fails -> Set config in sync fails : unknown

This warning does not affect any operations of NSM.

Symptoms:

What does this warning mean? How do I troubleshoot such issues?

Solution:

This warning does not affect any operations of NSM. It only indicates that NSM could not get sync status of a secondary member.

This issue is seen when SRX devices in cluster managed by NSM and Secondary Cluster member show status as down in NSM. Please check the connection status of Secondary Member in NSM.

If the secondary member is shown as down in NSM, try to reconnect the secondary member with NSM. Check for connectivity between NSM and SRX. You can try to RMA - Activate. Please refer to KB13955 - JTAC Certified Guide to Troubleshooting DMI devices with NSM  for further troubleshooting.

Once both devices are up and managed in sync status in NSM, update device job completes without any warning.
