Solution:

Obtaining Serial Number from a CLI

Use the following command:

#/usr/sbin/dmidecode | grep -m 1 "Serial Number:"

Note: The serial number of a Junos Space Virtual Machine (VMware) begins with the following: VMware-xxxx

 

Obtaining Serial Number from a WebGUI

  1. Open Junos Space WebGUI > Platform > Administration > Fabric.

  2. Right-click Fabric Node.

  3. Select View Node Detail. Information about the appliance is displayed, including the serial number.
