This article describes the messages that should appear in the /tmp/systemStartup.log​ file to confirm that Junos Space has started successfully after the Junos Space process is restarted or after a reboot.

Symptoms:

The goal is to help users confirm that Junos Space has started successfully after the Junos Space process is restarted or after a reboot.

Solution:
  1. Log into the Junos Space CLI.
  2. Execute the command:
    #tail -f /tmp/systemStartup.log​
  3. It will show which applications are getting deployed on the server. For example:
    2018/03/07 10:02:33.804  Network Management Platform is now deploying ... [ 1 of 9 ]
    2018/03/07 10:02:33.815  Network Management Platform Creating database table views
    2018/03/07 10:02:33.820  Network Management Platform Creating database table index
    2018/03/07 10:02:47.295  Network Management Platform Checking and performing database migration, this may take few minutes
    2018/03/07 10:04:10.018  Network Management Platform loading device schema
    2018/03/07 10:04:10.652  Network Management Platform
    2018/03/07 10:04:23.502  Elements Management System is now deploying ... [ 2 of 9 ]
