Information about the required STATUS LED status of SSG5/SSG20 in an NSRP Active/Passive configuration.

Cause:

Solution:

In an NSRP Active/Passive configuration, the STATUS LED status of SSG5/SSG20 should be:

  • Green Blinking: Device is Primary

  • Amber Blinking: Device is Backup / Ineligible / Inoperable

For checking the state of NSRP Ineligible or Inoperable state, please refer to KB11477 - What is the Ineligible state on a firewall running NSRP? Is it the same as the Inoperable state?
