[EX] Managing EX9200 devices using both Primary's and Backup RE's management interface

Summary:

By default, a user will not be able to manage an EX9200 device using the Backup RE's management interface. If you do not have the RPD (routing daemon) running on the backup RE (routing engine), you will not be able to manage the EX9200 using this interface.

Solution:

Similar to the EX8200 and EX4200, for an EX9200, you will not be able to redirect requests to the Backup RE by default. Therefore, you need to set the following configurations:

set groups re0 interfaces fxp0 unit 0 family inet address 10.209.72.240/23
set groups re1 interfaces fxp0 unit 0 family inet address 10.209.72.241/23

set apply-groups re0
set apply-groups re1

set system backup-router 10.209.73.254
<--- .254 is the gateway used to connect to this interface.

In this example setup, .241 is the primary RE's IP.

Even though the primary management ethernet link is down, we can still reach the 10.209.72.240 IP address.
