[SRX] LAG interface is down when using LACP in SRX transparent mode

Summary:

When using LACP in SRX transparent mode, the LAG interface is down. LACP is not supported in SRX transparent mode, whether the SRX is in standalone or HA mode. Use static LAG instead of LACP in SRX transparent mode.

Symptoms:

When using LACP in SRX transparent mode, the LAG interface is down.

Layer 2 Transparent Mode

LACP in a standalone device

Cause:

LACP is not supported in SRX transparent mode, whether SRX is standalone or HA mode.

Solution:

Use static LAG instead of LACP in SRX transparent mode.

LACP on Layer 2 transparent mode is supported from 15.1X49-D80 on the following devices - SRX300, SRX320, SRX340, SRX345, SRX1500, SRX4100, SRX4200, SRX5400, SRX5600, and SRX5800 devices and vSRX instances.  Refer to KB31771 for more details on the same.
