QFabric Partition Address offline ==> issue
Solution:

This issue is non service impacting and it has been reported under PR931663.  However, if it is necessary to bring it back online in the 'show fabric administration inventory director-group status', the following procedure can correct this behavior.

  1. Log in to primary DG shell with root access.
  2. Open vim editor using command 'vim /etc/hosts'.

  3. With vim opened, click 'shift-g' to jump to end line.
  4. Click 'o' to create a new line and enter INSERT mode.

  5. Type in configured VIP IP address as follows:
# Directors must not resolve to 127.0.0.1 for cluster services
1.1.1.1 dg0
1.1.1.2 dg1
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
::1 localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6
169.254.0.254 nfs.pbrain.net
169.254.0.3 db
169.254.3.3 dre
172.22.201.235 dcf
  1. Click Escape to go back to COMMAND mode.
  2. Enter wq to save the change and exit out of vim.

  3. Verify the behavior by issuing command show fabric administration inventory directory-group status at CLI.
(Note: 172.22.201.235 is the configured VIP address for Qfabric)
