[ScreenOS] How to physically identify a failed power supply using firewall logs

Summary:

 This article expains how to identify which power supply is down on a firewall based on the event logs.

Symptoms:
nsisg2000-> get chassis

Chassis Environment:
Power Supply: One power supply is down

nsisg2000-> get event

2017-01-27 06:47:12 system crit 00022 The power supply 1 is not functioning
properly.
2017-01-27 03:09:01 system crit 00022 The power supply 1 is functioning
properly.
Solution:

PSU (Power Supply Unit) mapping on NetScreen firewalls:

ISG2000:

+PSUs are located at the rear of firewall
+Has 2 PSUs
+PSU 1 is on the right side and PSU 2 on the left
+PSUs are labelled on the firewall rear as PSU1 and PSU2

ISG1000 has got only one power supply.

NS 5200:

+PSUs are located at the rear of firewall
+Has 2 PSUs
+PSU 1 is on the right side and PSU 2 on the left side
+PSUs are labelled on the firewall rear as PSU1 and PSU2

NS5400:

+PSUs are located at the front of the firewall
+Has 3 PSUs
+Left is PSU1, the center is PSU 2, and on the right is PSU3

*SSG 500 series firewalls come with a single permanently installed AC or DC power supply unit (PSU). It has an additional slot for adding one more PSU. 
*Other SSG firewalls, such as SSG 300 series and SSG 140 has single PSU.
