How do I revoke a license?

Summary:

Revocation is the action of deleting an Activation and making the Entitlement (Activation Code) re-usable. 

Solution:

Customers have the ability to perform a revoke action for active subscription licenses in the Juniper Agile Licensing (JAL) portal. To revoke a previously activated license key, you need to perform the following steps:

  1. To perform the revocations, go to the My Activations tab on the Juniper Agile Licensing Portal.

  2. Find the license that you would like to revoke. You may filter your search by Activation Date or by Device Serial Number, then click 'Filter' to start the search.

  3. From the search results, select the product for which you need to revoke the license.
  4. Click 'Revoke'. Remember, the revoke button will only be available if the license was activated within 30 days.

  5.  Once the license has been revoked, the Activation Code is added back to your entitlements to be used for a new activation.  View My Entitlements to see the license.
Perpetual (permanent) license keys activated in error can be revoked within 30 days by opening an Admin Case in the Juniper Support Portal: https://supportportal.juniper.net/
