[NFX] How to access Broadcom Shell on NFX

This article explains how to gather logs from the Broadcom chip on the NFX device.

Solution:

From JCP:

  1. Go to the shell

  2. vty fpc0

    • root@A01-27:~ # vty fpc0
    TOR platform (1899Mhz Pentium processor, 255MB memory, 0KB flash)
    TFXPC0(vty)#
  3. ​set dcbcm diag (this will get you to the brcm shell from vty)

    • root@A01-27:~ #set dcbcm diag

    WARNING: bcm esw command MemWatch not alphabetized
    sysconf_attach: bcm device init failed
    ERROR: SOC unit 0 attach failed
    Boot flags: Cold boot
    Boot flags: initialization scripts NOT loaded
    BCM.0>

    ​From here, you can run requested commands related to Broadcom chip.
