[EOL/EOE] [WLC] Configuring a VLAN by using WLC Web GUI

This article explains how to configure a virtual local area network (VLAN) by using the Wireless Controller (WLC) web GUI.



To configure a VLAN by using the WLC web GUI, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the WLC web GUI and enter the login credentials.

  1. On the left panel, click the Configure tab.

  1. ​Navigate to System and select VLANs. The following window will be displayed.

  1. ​Click Create VLAN and enter a VLAN name and VLAN ID to create on the WLC controller.

  1. Click Finish and save the configuration.

  2. Now map the VLANs to the uplink ports of the WLC controller. Edit the preferred VLAN by clicking the Ports tab and click the Add button to add the number of ports.

  1. If the VLAN is tagged, select the Tagged check box to tag the VLAN ID and click Apply.

  1. Click Save to save the configuration changes.
