[vSRX] Virtual appliance license installation fails

Summary:

When trying to install the virtual appliance license on vSRX, it fails with the following error:

'neither serial number nor group reference specified in license is supported on the platform
Solution:

The license key for virtual products comes with a Software Serial Number and Customer ID. Software Serial Number (SSRN) is the equivalent of Serial Number for hardware products. 

Just as hardware devices have Serial Number check during license installation, virtual products have this check for Software Serial Number and Customer ID fields.

If the license key does not contain this SSRN, the license installation will fail with the message , 'neither serial number nor group reference specified in license is supported on the platform'

In such cases, reach out to Juniper TAC or Juniper Customer Care with your purchase order for the license. They will generate a new license with the SSRN field and you can then install the license on your vSRX successfully.
