[CSD] Device does not show up as the correct device in Connectivity Services Director

An MPLS device does not show up as MPLS device in CSD (Connectivity Services Director). This article explains how to troubleshoot this problem and resolve it.



Check the configuration on the device and make sure the following is configured for that device to appear as an MPLS device on CSD:

set protocols mpls label-switched-path to <ip address>

After adding the configuration and committing, perform the following:

  1. Re-synchronize the device with CSD.

  2. Re-discover roles via Prestage devices.
