This article explains how to configure a Domain Name Service (DNS) by using Wireless Controller (WLC) WebView.


  1. Log in to WLC WebView by using admin credentials.

Note: Use admin as Username and "Enable password" as Password.

  1. On the left panel, click the Configure tab > IP Services > DNS tab.

  1. Select the Enable DNS check box.

  2. In the “Default DNS domain” field, enter a default domain name for DNS queries.

Note: You can specify up to 64 alphanumeric characters.

  1. Configure the primary and secondary DNS server IP details in the Primary and Secondary DNS server fields.

  1. Click Apply to save the configuration.
