This article lists the steps to change the duration of time that RingMaster waits for a connection to be established to the Wireless Controller (WLC).



To change the connection timeout value in RingMaster, perform the following steps:

  1. Launch RingMaster.
  2. ​Select Tools > Preferences.

  3. ​Click the Network tab.

  1. Change the connection timeout value. The default value is 5 seconds and the maximum value is 30 seconds.

If there is any loss in communication between WLC and the RingMaster server, RingMaster will wait for the time specified as connection timeout before attempting to establish a connection with WLC again.
