This article explains which temperature sensors affect FAN speed and Alarm in SRX5K.
Upon FAN Speed change and yellow/red alarm is generated, user cannot identify which particular temperature sensor triggered this.

FAN Speed and yellow/red alarms are affected by Intake/Exhaust A/Exhaust B sensors in both SPCII and IOCII. TSen/Chip sensors do not affect FAN Speed and yellow/red alarm.
The following test was done on SRX5800 running 15.1X49-D160. Temperature threshold is adjusted by hidden command to demonstrate this behavior.
