[Subscriber Management] Subscribers fail to log in when an SDB access error occured

When an MX subscriber management router was stressed with a high number of subscribers that were trying to connect over dynamic authenticated VLANs, some subscribers are unable to connect.  


To clear this issue, bbe-smgd needs to be restarted:

restart smg-service

According to PR1281896 - Subscribers might get stuck in Init state if there is an SDB access error during their login, the following are fixed releases:

  • 15.1R7
  • 16.1R6
  • 16.2R3
  • 17.1R3
  • 17.2R2
  • 17.3R2
  • 17.3R1-S1
  • 16.1R4-S7
  • 16.1R4-S10
