[CSO] What is the recommended method for deleting a Hub and Spoke device?

Summary:

When deleting a Hub and Spoke device, proper sequence must be followed. If the proper sequence is not followed, stale entries may occur, leading to issues later on.

Solution:

To delete a Hub and Spoke device take the following steps:

  1. Log into CSO administration portal.

  2. Select Tenants from the menu on the left hand side.

  3. Select the Tenant that contains the Hub and Spoke device which needs to be deleted.

  4. Select Sites from the menu on the left hand side.

  5. Select the Spoke device you are going to delete using the checkbox. Then click the delete button.

  6. Select the Hub device you are going to delete using the checkbox. Then click the delete button.

  7. Go back to Global Tenant by clicking the drop down menu at the top, next to the tenant name you are already in. Then select Global.

  8. Select Resources from the menu on the left hand side.

  9. Select Cloud Hub Devices.

  10. Select the Hub device you are going to delete using the checkbox. Then click the delete button.
