Solution:

To configure BGP on ScreenOS, it must be enabled on the Virtual Router, the neighbor network device, and the specific interface.

Example: Enable BGP on the untrust VR and Ethernet 0/0 interface, which is peering to 10.141.222.121:

1. Open the WebUI.

2. From the ScreenOS options menu, click Network > Routing > Virtual Routers

3. In untrust-vr, click Edit to configure.

4. Under Dynamic Routing Protocol Support, click Create BGP Instance.

5. On the BGP Setting for untrust-vr page, click BGP Enabled and enter the AS number. Click OK.

6. On the ScreenOS options menu, click Network, and then click Interfaces and List.

7. Under ethernet0/0, click Edit.

8. On the Edit page, click BGP.

9. Click the enable option to enable protocol BGP.

10. To add the neighbor information, click Network > Routing > Virtual Routers. On the untrust-vr, click the Edit option.

11. From Dynamic Routing Protocol Support, click Edit BGP Instance and then click Neighbors. Enter the neighbor information such as remote AS Number, Remote IP address and choose the outgoing interface. Click Add to add the neighbor.

12. Enable the peer by going to Network > Routing > Virtual Routers. On the untrust-vr, click Edit BGP Instance > Neighbors > Configure (for remote IP). Select Peer Enabled, and then click OK.
