0

Article ID: KB35610 KB Last Updated: 17 Apr 2020Version: 1.0
Summary:

This article talks about the security best practices to be followed for the Steel-Belted Radius (SBR) application.

Solution:

Below are some of the security best practices by which you can protect the OS hosting the SBR application:

  1. Install an anti-malware application on the server.

  2. Keep the server up-to-date with regular security updates.

  3. Use a vulnerability scanner.

In addition:

  • Consult the respective OS vendor documentation for any help with anti-malware or OS updates.

Note: We do not necessarily test with anti-malware software on the OS so we would not know of any performance or compatibility issues.

  • You can also refer to the Juniper Security Advisories to keep up on security advisories for SBR.

  • Also it is a good practice to keep up with the latest SBR patches for the version that you are running. Patch details can be found on the Software Downloads page.
