[NFX] How to determine if my device is running nfx-2 or nfx-3 software

When logging on to an NFX device, how do you determine if it is running nfx-2 software or nfx-3 software (NFX250 Next-Gen)?

Solution:

To determine which software architecture you are running, use the command "show version | match nfx".

Example:

For nfx-2 software:

{master:0}
root> show version | match nfx
Model: nfx250_10_t
JUNOS Host nfx-2 platform package [19.1R1-S3]
NFX-2 LTE package [19.1R1-S3]
JUNOS Host nfx-2 control-plane package [19.1R1-S3]
JUNOS Host nfx-2 base package [19.1R1-S3]
JUNOS Host nfx-2 data-plane package [19.1R1-S3]


For nfx-3 software:

root@s08-25> show version | match nfx
Model: nfx250_10_t
