Article ID: KB36307 KB Last Updated: 17 Nov 2020Version: 1.0
Summary:

This article explains that after upgrading an EX Series device to Junos OS Release 18.2R2, users may get a file with "/usr/bin/php: Undefined symbol "__udivsi3"" when they try to connect to the device via J-Web. Further J-Web access to the device may fail as well.

The solution in this case would be to upgrade the device to the Junos OS releases listed in the article in which this issue has been fixed.

Symptoms:

The following events are seen:

  • The device then becomes inaccessible via the management interface.

  •  A pop-up file is displayed, which offers the possibility of downloading a file. But the content of the file is /usr/bin/php: Undefined symbol "__udivsi3.

  •  Restarting the device does not help.

Solution:

The issue has been fixed in Junos OS Release 18.1R3-S5, 18.1R3-S7, 18.2R3, 18.3R2, 18.3R2-S2, 18.3R3, 18.4R2, 18.4R3, 19.1R1, 19.1R2, 19.2R1, 19.2R2, and 19.3R1.
