This article explains the meaning of the following syslog message and how to resolve it:

jlaunchd: mobiled is thrashing, not restarted

During a system boot-up or Routing-engine switchover, the syslog message below is seen filling up the buffer on the terminal session:

jlaunchd: mobiled is thrashing, not restarted
jlaunchd: mobiled is thrashing, not restarted

These are cosmetic messages and do not indicate any issues with traffic forwarding through the device.

Mobiled is a user daemon which is not required to be run on the router as it was used for EOL'ed service on MX router. Disable this process from respawn using the knob below:

set system processes mobiled disable
