Article ID: KB36524 KB Last Updated: 09 Mar 2021Version: 1.0
Summary:

This article explains the configurations of Twamp server on ACX with MX client.

Solution:

The Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol (TWAMP) defines a standard for measuring IP performance between two devices in a network.
TWAMP can be configured on ACX Series routers only as the reflector (server) side of TWAMP.
For more information about TWAMP, see RFC 5357, A Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol (TWAMP).

Topology:

Mx480 (client) xe-0/0/1:0 ----- xe-0/3/0 acx2200 (server)

Client Configuration:

labroot@mx480 # show services
rpm {
    twamp {
        client {
            control-connection c1 {
                destination-interface si-0/0/0.1;
