[Contrail HealthBot] How to retrieve auth token to log in to Kubernetes Dashboard

To access the dashboard for a multi-node setup for HealthBot, which is installed using Kubernetes, users would need either Kubeconfig or a Token.

This article explains how to retrieve a token to connect to the Kubernetes Dashboard.


The procedure to access the Kubernetes Dashboard by using an auth token is as follows:

  1. To access the Kubernetes Dashboard from the HealthBot Dashboard, click Tools > Kubernetes Dashboard from a tile on the top-right corner of the HealthBot Dashboard page.

  1. When you click Kubernetes Dashboard, you will see following dialog box:

  1. To retrieve the token, log in to the Kubernetes master node of the HealthBot installation.

  2. Execute the following command and paste the token in the "Enter Token" field on the UI to log in to the K8 dashboard:

healthbot get-k8s-dashboard-token
[root@localhost ~]# healthbot get-k8s-dashboard-token
