Summary:
How Do I Log on as a Virtual System (VSYS) Administrator?
Symptoms:
Virtual System (VSYS) configured on the NetScreen VSYS administrator
Solution:
A root-level administrator enters a VSYS from the root level; a VSYS administrator enters a VSYS directly. You can use either the WebUI or the CLI to log on.

To log on as a virtual system administrator, perform the following steps:

From the WebUI:

Open a web browser. In the Address text box, enter the Untrust Zone sub-interface IP address for VSYS1.

From the login screen, enter the VSYS Admin Name and Password.

Click Login.

From the CLI:

Open the Command Line Interface (CLI) using the Untrust zone sub-interface IP address of the virtual system. For more information on how to open the CLI, go to Accessing the Command Line Interface Using Telnet. You can also use a Secure Command Shell (SCS) or a HyperTerminal session command line prompt. When prompted, enter the VSYS Administrator username and password.
