How do I Assign a Static IP Address to My PC?


Note: This article applies to ScreenOS 4.0 and higher.

To assign a static IP address to your PC, perform the following steps:

Step one: From your desktop, right-click My Network Places, and click Properties.

Step two: From the Network and Dial-up Connections window, right-click the Local Area Connection you wish to modify, and then click Properties.

Step three: From the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click Properties.

Step four: From the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box, click to select Use the following IP address.

Step five: Enter an IP address and Subnet mask, and click OK.
