Note: This article applies to ScreenOS 4.0 and higher.

To allow access to the Internet via a policy, perform the following steps:

Step one: Open the WebUI. For more information on accessing the WebUI, select your product from the list below:
Step two: From the NetScreen options menu, click Policies.

Step three: From the Policies screen, in the From drop-down menu, click to select Trust.

Step four: From the To drop-down menu, click to select Untrust.

Step five: Click New.

Step six: From the Policies screen, enter a Name.

Note: For this example, we chose to enter a Name of Internet Access.

Step seven: From Source Address, click to choose either New Address or Address Book, and either enter a New Address or click to select a pre-existing Address Book entry.

Note: For this example we chose to select the default option of Address Book, and an address entry of Any. For more information on how to configure a new address book entry, go to Configuring an Address Book Entry for the Internal Network.

Step eight: From Destination Address, click to choose either New Address or Address Book, and either enter a New Address or click to select a pre-existing Address Book entry.

Step nine: From the Service drop-down menu, click to select HTTP.

Step ten: From the Action drop-down menu, click to select Permit.

Step eleven: Click OK.
