Note: This article applies to ScreenOS 4.0.

To configure a Policy for scheduling, perform the following steps:

Step one: Open the WebUI. For more information on accessing the WebUI, select your product from the list below:
Step two: From the NetScreen options menu, click Objects, and then click Schedules.

Step three: Click New.

Step four: From the Edit screen, enter a Schedule Name.

Note: For this example, we have entered Internet Access.

Step five: Click to choose Recurring or Once.

Note: For this example, we have selected Recurring.

Note:Once can be selected for a one-time occurrence of a schedule.

Step six: Enter the Start Time and End Time for this schedule.

Note: For this example, we have entered a Start Time of 8:00, and a End Time of 18:00. The NetScreen is configured in military time.

Step seven: Click OK.

Step eight: From the NetScreen options menu, click Policies.

Step nine: From the Policies screen, from the policy you would like to add the schedule to, click Edit.

Step ten: From the Policies screen, click Advanced.

Step eleven: From Schedule drop-down menu, click to choose a schedule.

Note: For this example, we have selected Internet Access.

Step twelve: Click Return.

Step thirteen: Click OK.
