Deleting PKI Certificate Objects


Note: This article applies to ScreenOS 4.0 and higher.

Note: When you perform a hardware or software reset on your NetScreen device, only the configuration is reset to factory specifications, the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates will remain in the device. Clearing all certificates can only be performed via the CLI.

To delete PKI certificate objects, perform the following steps:

Step one: Open the CLI. For information on how to open the CLI, go to Accessing the Command Line Interface Using Telnet.

Step two: From the Command Prompt, enter exec pki test reset, and then press ENTER.
