Viewing Policy Reports

Solution:

Note: This article applies to ScreenOS 4.0 and higher.

To view policy reports, perform the following steps:

Step one: Open the WebUI. For more information on accessing the WebUI, consult KB4060 - Accessing Your NetScreen, SSG, or ISG Firewall Using the WebUI


From the NetScreen options menu, click Reports, and then click Policies.

note: There are several options available from the top of the Policies page. For a description of each option, see below:

  • List_per page - the number of policies per page you want to view
  • View All Log - view all logs
  • Clear All Log - clear the traffic log
  • Clear All Alarm - clear all alarms
  • Refresh - update the list with the most recently configured policies

note: This is an example of the Reports > Policies table:

From View Detail, click the View Logs icon to view the log entries.

note: For more information on the WebUI policy icons, go to WebUI Policy Icons.

note: From the Traffic Log page, you can view information for the policy you have chosen.

note: This same information can be retrieved or viewed via the CLI using the following command: get pol id. Here is an example of the get pol id command:
