To determine if a NetScreen device is a baseline or an advanced license product, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the CLI. For more information on how to open the CLI, go to KB4082 - Accessing the Command Line Interface Using Telnet.
  2. Enter one of the following commands: get software or get license-key
  3. Upon entering the command prompt, a table will be returned with licensing information. To determine if your product is baseline or advanced, see the right hand column next to 'Model'.
