2004-10-04 09:38:29 system info 00536 IKE<10.1.1.10>: Received a notification message for DOI <1> <40001>

This is a notification message that notifies the peer what the tunnel end-point IP address is. The Next Hop Tunnel Bind (NHTB) process uses it, but as with most notification messages, it does not suggest an error condition. This message can appear in the Event Log or Syslog.

noteThe Domain of Interpretation (DOI) is a field in the IKE packet and will always be 1.
