[EOL/EOE] How Do I Make an Older Policy Version Current in NSM?

How Do I Make an Older Policy Version Current in NSM?

An older policy version that has the correct configuration of the devices can be changed to the current version. In  NSM  whenever a policy is updated to a device, a new version is created and the older version is saved in the configuration if policy versioning is enabled .

  1. In order to enable Policy Versioning , under Tools >Preferences > Object Versioning , enable policy  On NSM GUI . Use the following screenshot as reference:

  2. Use the following Workflow for restoring the older policy version as a current version:
    • Under Configure Tab  navigate to  Policy Manager >Policies . Right click on the desired policy and choose the option View Versions

      Refer the screenshot as shown below :

    • A new window for Version History would be displayed . Choose the appropriate Policy Version and click on Restore tab as shown below:

      Clicking Restore would replace the existing policy version with the newly selected version .
