noteThis article applies to ScreenOS 5.1.0 and above.

noteIn ScreenOS 5.1.0, you can enable WebAuth to authenticate via SSL only, and block WebAuth via HTTP.

To allow WebAuth via SSL and block WebAuth via HTTP, perform the following steps:

Open the WebUI. For more information on accessing the WebUI, go to Accessing Your NetScreen Device Using the WebUI.

From the NetScreen options menu, click Network, and then click Interfaces.

Locate the interface that you wish to edit, and then click Edit.

Click to select WebAuth, and then in the IP text box, enter the WebAuth IP address.

Click to select SSL Only.

Click OK.
