[EOL/EOE] Creating a Backup in NSM Manually

Creating a Backup in NSM Manually

To create a backup in NetScreen-Security Manager (NSM) manually, perform the following steps:

Connect to NSM. For more information on this, go to Connecting to the NetScreen-Security Manager.

To change directories, enter the following command:
cd /usr/netscreen/HaSvr/utils
To create a backup, enter the following command:
./replicateDb backup

The backup settings are stored in /usr/netscreen/HaSvr/var/haSvr.cfg.  By default, the backups are stored in /var/netscreen/dbbackup.  To restore a backup, go into the /usr/netscreen/HaSvr/utils and execute the ./ command.  For more information, see this KB article:
