Solution:

To add an SSH PKA-DSA key to the device administrator in NSM, perform the following steps:

Generate a PKA public/private key pair for your management station using the key generate program in an SSH client application. SSH client applications include OpenSSH and SecureCRT.

noteRefer to client documentation for the procedure on how to generate the keys. The key pair is RSA for SSH version 1 and DSA for SSH version 2.

Connect to the NetScreen-Security Manager. For more information on this, go to Connecting to the NetScreen-Security Manager.

Expand Device Manager, and click to select FW/VPN Devices.

In the FW/VPN Device Tree tab, right-click the device to which you plan to add the SSH PKA-DSA key, and click Edit.

Expand Device Admin, and click to select Administrators.

Click to select the administrator for which you want to add the PKA-DSA Key, and click the edit button.

Click +.

Open the public key file created in Step 1 using a text editor.

Copy and paste the public key into the PKA-DSA Key ID dialog box.

Click OK.
