Preventing 'HTTP:IIS:PROPFIND Has Been Detected' Log Messages From Generating

By default, the Microsoft Outlook Web client uses the signature 'HTTP:IIS:PROPFIND.' If the NetScreen device is configured to log policies with 'DI Group MEDIUM:HTTP:SIGS,' each time Outlook Web client traffic passes through the device, the message 'HTTP:IIS:PROPFIND has been detected' is generated in the log file.

To prevent 'HTTPS:IIS:PROPFIND has been detected' log messages from generating, perform the following steps:

Open the Command Line Interface (CLI). For more information on how to open the CLI, go to Accessing the Command Line Interface Using Telnet.

Enter the following command:
set attack disable "HTTP:IIS:PROPFIND"
