Configuring an Active-Active NSRP Configuration Using NSM
To configure an active-active NSRP configuration using NSM, perform the following steps:
Connect to NetScreen-Security Manager (NSM). For more information, go to Connecting to the NetScreen-Security Manager.
Expand Device Manager, and then click to select FW/VPN Devices.

On the FW/VPN Device Tree tab, right-click the cluster you want to edit, and then click Edit.

In the left pane, click to select Members.

In the right pane, under VSD Definitions, click the New button.

From the New Add VSD dialog box, in the New Add VSD text box, enter a value.

Click OK.
In the left pane, expand Network, and then click to select Interface.

In the right pane, right-click ethernet1, and then click Edit.

From the right pane, in the IP Address and Netmask text boxes, enter an IP address and netmask.

Click OK.
Repeat Step 9 through Step 11 for ethernet3 using a new IP address and netmask.
Below is an example of the configured interfaces.

In the right pane, click to select ethernet1, click the New button, and then click VSI.

From the right pane, in the Name drop-down menu, click to select ethernet1. In the Name text box, enter a value.

In the IP Address and Netmask text boxes, enter an IP address and netmask.
In the right pane, click OK.

Repeat Step 13 through Step 16 for ethernet3 using a new IP address and netmask.
In the left pane, click to select Members.

Click to select the first member, and then click the Edit button.

In the left pane, expand Monitoring, and then click to select Whole Box Monitoring.

In the right pane, on the Monitor Interface tab, click the New button.

From the Monitor Interface List dialog box, in the Monitor Interface List drop-down menu, click to select ethernet1.

Click OK.
Repeat Step 21 through Step 23 for ethernet3.
In the right pane, click OK.

In the right pane, click OK.

Repeat Step 19 through Step 26 for the second member.
On the FW/VPN Device Tree tab, right-click the configured cluster, and then click Update Device.
