This article explains how do determine if you are running out of sessions.


Beginning with ScreenOS 3.0.2r1,a session threshold feature has been added. It will alarm the administrator when the NetScreen device is running at 90% of maximum session capacity.  This feature became available first on the NetScreen-5XP, on ScreenOS 3.0.2r1, and became available on the rest of the platforms beginning with 3.0.3.
