Summary:

This article describes how to delete old core dump information.

 

Symptoms:
  • NetScreen Firewall

  • Previous core dump information is stored in "get log system saved."

  • I cannot delete old core dump information.

 

Solution:

To clear out all core dump information from the system log, from the Command Line Interface (CLI), execute the following:

clear log system saved [Enter]
