Summary:
Can I have policy checking for traffic between two Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) belong to the same Virtual System (VSYS)
Symptoms:

Solution:

 

There is no way for the NetScreen to check policies if the source and destination IP addresses are in the same Virtual System (VSYS).  However, you can block traffic from passing between the two VLANs.

From the Command Line Interface (CLI):

set intervlan-traffic deny [Enter]

To enable inter VLAN traffic

unset intervlan-traffic [Enter]
