What is the difference between 'get arp' and 'get arp cache'?
Symptoms:
get arp get arp cache In ScreenOS 4.0.0, the ARP table and the ARP cache have been combined into one table
Solution:

In ScreenOS 3.1.0 and below, the flow traffic (through the device traffic) use the ARP table which is in the interrupt level. This can be checked with "get arp" command.

The traffic initiated from the NetScreen device use ARP cache table which is in task level and can be checked with "get arp cache". Examples of this include management traffic, WebSense, Email Alert notification, Syslog, SNMP, Global Pro, and NTP.
