0

Article ID: KB6040 KB Last Updated: 27 Aug 2010Version: 3.0
Summary:
Console Has Been Disabled
Symptoms:
Console disabled Cannot login through the console
Solution:

Once the console is disabled, you cannot gain access to the NetScreen console.  You will need to access the CLI via telnet or SCS.  Once you are logged in, enable console access using the following command:

unset console disable [Enter]

If SCS or telnet access is not available, there is no way to access the box.  It would have to be returned for repair and replacement.
