[ScreenOS] Is DHCP relay supported in NAT mode?

0

0

Article ID: KB6078 KB Last Updated: 25 Feb 2019Version: 5.0
Summary:
Is DHCP relay supported in NAT mode on ScreenOS devices ?
Symptoms:
User cannot get a ScreenOS device to function as a DHCP relay agent, when interfaces are in NAT mode.
Solution:

When the security device functions as a DHCP relay agent, its interfaces must be in Route mode. For interfaces in Route mode, (that is have IP addresses assigned to the interfaces), you must configure a security policy (from zone to zone or intrazone) to permit the predefined service DHCP-Relay before forwarding occurs.
