[EOL/EOE] [ScreenOS] 'failed to get clock through NTP' on backup unit

What is causing the error message 'failed to get clock through NTP' on the backup unit
The 'get log event' on the backup unit shows 'failed to get clock though NTP'

In ScreenOS version 4.0.1 or above, the command 'set ntp no-ha-sync' turns off the clock synchronization between the primary and backup device


In ScreenOS 3.1.0, NTP update is only performed on the primary device.

In ScreenOS 4.0.x, with NSRPv2, both primary & backup units are able to do NTP update. The manage-ip must be set on the outgoing interface (separate from the physical IP address).  The primary unit will synchronize the system clock to the backup whenever it gets a NTP update.
