How to: Drop and not log IDENT traffic
  • Ident-reset

Ident packets are not dropped. Instead, if you have ident-reset enabled on the interface on the untrust zone, it will send an ident-reset packet back to the server that sent it from the Internet. These packets are not logged, since these packets don't hit the ScreenOS stateful inspection engine.
